"One of the most unique places around to host a large gathering, like a wedding. Plenty of room to spread people out, both inside & out, and a very nice open air "chapel" with a beautiful stained glass backdrop. The antiques are amazing, you coordinate your own meal, and whatever else you'd like to have for your event. This place will be the talk of your familes for awhile. "5 stars is not enough stars to rate Jerris Wadsworth! Trust me and disregard any negative reviews posted because Jim & Kathy were absolutely amazing during the entire planning process from beginning to the day of! Definitely take the time to take a tour with Jim to decide if this is the place for you. Kathy is a fantastic wedding coordinator! Jim you have a breathtaking estate and venue. There are options to decide where you want your ceremony held. We got a lot of positive remarks from our guests about the museum, (the lion was a hit), the reception barn and the ceremony barn. Jim, you do a fantastic job maintaining your property and providing a beautiful place in the country with a country setting with a touch of elegance. The bridal suite is beautiful, there is plenty of lighting, my hair and makeup stylists made a remark about how beautiful, spacious it is and that the lighting was perfect. There is an option for renting the air BNB’s for your bridal party or family. All rooms are well maintained and there is everything you could possibly need available. Kathy is very professional, organized, friendly, seriously the sweetest lady, and a great listener. We sat down for our meetings to discuss my husband and I’s vision and she made it happen. Jim walked us through the entire estate and every bit of it is beautiful and perfect for us. Our wedding day turned out to be amazing and it wouldn’t have without Jim & Kathy. She made sure that my husband and I were both taken care of on the day of our wedding. The food through Colby’s catering was excellent!!! Absolutely no complaints, I recommend attending the food tasting that they provide. There is so much that we can say about Kathy & Jim that we can’t put into words. My husband, myself, and our guests were satisfied. Kathy & Jim, keep up the great work, Chris & I thank you so much for all the time & work you put into to the best day of our lives!!! We highly recommend Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn for a beautiful perfect wedding day!"

“We LOVED the aesthetic of this venue, I can describe it best as “eclectic.” Taxidermy is everywhere, antiques and vintage decor are abundant, and the grounds have this kinda weird forlorn feel to them. My husband and I are creepy weirdo at heart and we loved the nontraditional vibe. Guests loved it too, they had so much fun exploring both the downstairs and the upstairs spaces. You get the venue from Friday to Sunday, so you get to set up Friday and Sunday take-down. No rushing around or stressing the morning of or after the party ends! There are 3 huge Airbnb you can rent. We decided to do that and being right at the venue for the whole weekend with our wedding party was so fun!! All in all, I would 1000000% have my wedding there again. ”

"My wife and I just got married at the Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn (8/23/25), and it was honestly perfect! Kathy, Kim and Jim were all fantastic and made sure to help us with everything we needed along the way. The food tasted great (I recommend going for the prime rib, as the carving station was delicious), the space ended up being awesome and allowed for our guests to spread out, and they were able to offer a great stage area for the live band we had. All in all they made it possible for us to have the best party of our lives, and I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to seriously consider this place. Thanks again to Kathy, Kim and Jim!!

“This is hands down the best place to have your wedding. My wife and I just got married on 8/26/23 and it was the time of our lives. Everything went smoothly, the food was amazing and everything that was promised was given to us. The staff is amazing Jim is very personable and easy to work with, Kim is awesome with communicating with you and truly capturing what you want in a wedding and Kathy is by far one of the sweetest people we have ever met. She checked on us all day long making sure that we were okay and having an amazing time, anytime we needed something she did not hesitate she just made it happen. Everything about this venue from the staff to the food, to the atmosphere you truly feel at home.”

“Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn was our dream wedding venue. I will point out that calling it a wedding “barn” just does not do this place justice. It is a stunning country estate with gorgeous grounds and mansion and an awesome reception venue space with multiple ceremony spots to choose from. Some of the highlights include on-site overnight accommodations. We rented all 3 air bnbs for the weekend and it ended up working perfectly for us. There is also a dedicated space for getting ready which was perfect for our bridal party. The A/C worked like a DREAM everywhere!!!! On a hot, humid day, I was super concerned about making sure our guests were cool, and they definitely were! We had planned to get married outside but with the rain, we had to pivot and have our ceremony in the chapel. All of the staff were on top of it and made sure the chapel looked beautiful for the ceremony. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the venue and it worked out perfectly. We had excellent food from Colby’s at the rehearsal and the wedding reception. The apple Gouda chicken was so good. The bar was great and kept drinks coming quickly all night long. Everything ran smoothly thanks to Kathy who runs the show and is there with you all day Friday and Saturday helping to set up. We hung around the fire pit after the wedding reception and had a great time with friends who stayed over. I want to relive this day over and over again. “My husband and my wedding was here last year on 10/2/21. Every single thing went amazingly smoothly. If there was a minor hiccup, and let’s face it no day is perfect, the staff immediately did everything in their power to correct it. The food was fantastic, the venue was gorgeous, many beautiful picture opportunities. Jim and the wedding coordinators that worked directly with me, Kim and Kathy were absolutely OUTSTANDING. Kathy was quite possibly the most wonderful woman I ever met. She went above and beyond to make sure the day was my perfect dream. She did little personal touches that I didn’t even know I wanted, and if I didn’t like it, she adjusted it to how I did. She made sure everything was perfect and made me feel like I was her own daughter by the end of the weekend. Kim made everything so easygoing. Made sure that everything was perfect and our selections that were made were correct. Was extremely sweet and super easy to get ahold of and work with. As for Jim, any time I had a silly question, he answered within a reasonable time, and even when I stopped by on random weekdays prior to the event, if he was around, would let me peak in the venue because let’s face it, once you fall in love with a place you just want to keep seeing it. Overall I rate them 1000/10. They will not disappoint your big day. They will make you feel one in a million. A big thank you to you and your amazing staff Jim!! Love always, The Strebs”

“GET MARRIED HERE! I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Jerris. My husband and I had our original wedding date scheduled in the midst of all the COVID-19 restrictions. Jerris worked with us every step of the way to move our date to a time that would be safe for us and all of our guests. We followed the guidelines set by the state and had a WONDERFUL event filled with fun, family, friends, laughter and amazing food. Everyone at Jerris was so extremely helpful and kind. Kathy was a wonderful wedding coordinator and provided the support that I needed to be able to relax and enjoy the day! The food was all spectacular and everyone that attended the wedding thought the venue was gorgeous. Our pictures came out phenomenal and we had the best time. Thank you, Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn and Colby’s Catering staff for making my wedding day an absolute dream! I will cherish these memories forever.”

“I had my wedding here two years ago and it was fantastic. I just recently attended a co-workers wedding here last week and again still amazing. They have done a lot of updates in the last two years to accommodate more guests as well as make the whole experience better and the updates are beautiful. I highly recommend this venue. The Colby’s staff is phenomenal and very personable! Helped us so much setting up for our big day and helped on the big day as well so that everything went off without a problem!”

“I can not say enough how awesome my wedding day was. From the Jerris Wadsworth venue being absolutely breath taking, to the staff being so helpful and nice. They went above and beyond to make my day extra special. The food was awesome, we got a lot of complements from our friends and family. The staff was there to help us set up and prep the day before, the wedding night, and even to help us pack up the car the next day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue that offers so much more than just a building to party in. Truly amazing i wish i could relive that night all over again! “We had our wedding this past July at the Wedding Barn. It was FANTASTIC! Everyone that works there is super kind and accommodating and makes sure you have everything you want and need! The grounds are phenomenal and they’re always making additions and improvements! There is so much to look at and has so much space if you feel like you need to get away and have some alone time! You truly cannot beat the price either for the space and service you’ll receive! I highly recommend this venue!”
